IKKERI :
Its just 4Kms  from my house and  375Kms from B'lore. During the time of Vijayanagara rulers, this was capital of Keladi rulers.Ikkeri Kings rule started in 16th century, when King Sadashiva Nayaka of the Ikkeri family, who rose in the service of Krishna Deva Raya of Vijayanagar.
Government has maintained the temple very well (luckily). Its worth to visit atleast once to see the carvings on the outside wall of the temple. If u cant visit, ask me for more photos :)
